Just did a box. Had 52, 1939-1959. Including 2 War Nickels both 1943p. Thought I had a third one but it was a 1942 regular. Here's the really good part. 14 Buffalo nickels. 192X (2) 1930 1935 1936 (2) 1937 7 Dateless. I had previously done 5 boxes, and only gotten 1 Buffalo nickel and 2 War Nickels.

Coinrollhunter I sold a box of 2012d nickles earlier in the year on ebay for $145 plus postage. It sold if I remember right in less than 1 hour, I probably could have gotten more.

First time hunting nickels. Did one box and made these finds:
1939 x3 1940 1941 x3 1942 1942P silver 1946 1946D 1949 1952 1952D 1954 1954D x2 1956D 1957D x2 1959 1959D x2 1968S x2 1969S 1970S x3
Anything stick out that I should check? Not sure of what to look for in nickels. Most of these are G-VF. The 1959 is a nice AU.

It takes people less than 5 boxes to get a 1950 d, or it takes over 150 boxes. lol. Nothing in between.

Congrats Rew on the 50D. I mentioned a few weeks ago that I haven't found the 50D...and I still stand waiting. I have got a couple of 1950 nick's lately, so at least I getting to feel the rush of anticipation. I'm doing probably 4 to 5 boxes a week. I would guess I've gone through 300 boxes at this point. That said, I have found a lot of Liberty V's. Even found 11 in one box, so I can't complain. I know the 50D will hit sooner or later.
