CJ Cents Valued Member United States 140 Posts	Posted 09/30/2013 6:09 pm It was a BWR and yes only $30. I never have bought more than $30 at a time. Sometimes I buy $20-$30 twice a week or just once a week and take a week or two off. Been searching nickels for about ten months and only found 13 War Nickels. Report this Post to the Staff

I have been through thousands of dollars in cents and have never found a 1943. Well.. I got one from a reject bin, but that doesn't really count. Report this Post to the Staff

Afterimage Valued Member United States 360 Posts	Posted 10/02/2013 8:23 pm I found these at work today. The "S" War Nickel is from 1945. It also happens to be a coin that I don't have in my '38 to '61 Whitman. Score! I usually throw back the '05 nickels, but this one was almost perfect. Just a few very minor dings. It happens to be my favorite Jefferson nickel design. I wish the mint would have stuck with this design...the newer version is my least favorite of all nickel designs. Report this Post to the Staff
