My son and I collect both American nickels and Canadian nickels. We have not found any 2012 or 2013 Canadian nickels yet, (and of course no 2014 nickels either), which is unusual. We usually get the prior year's recent nickels pretty quickly. Anyone else noticed this also?

Latest box: 39, 40x3, 40d, 41x4, 43s, 46, 47x2, 48, 48dx2, 49, 49d, 52, 52s, 54dx2, 55d, 56d, 58dx2, 59. No holes filled.
Still need 44s, 50d, 58, 2009p & d.

Jon - I pulled a 2013 Canadian nickel from the magnet of a coin counter but I have not run into one in a roll. No 2012s or 2014s either.

2 boxes of nickels. 1 buffalo and a Euro cent. No silver nickels in the last 4 boxes.   |

1 bag yielded 55 upgrade, 34 and 27 buffs (both VG/Vg- or so), one silver, 47s and 48s.
Nickels are getting more and more picked over. Not gonna stop though

great box to report! 3 buffs, including full date vg 1916, my new oldest buff in my folder. also a 1930 and a gorgeous xtra fine 1938d with practically a full horn. a 45p and a singapore coin. good times!

Nice Jon - no Buffalos yet for me, but I did get the skunk off regarding Silver (found a 45 P)!
Productive rolls this week: 33 nickels between 1941 and 59 including: 46s, 52d, and 57 upgrades. Also upgraded a few 60s/70s/80s and S mint nickels (10 or so). The odd thing: not a single Canadian nickel in 1200 nickels searched. Also, no 2009s.

Picked up 10 rolls today.. Nothing too exciting
40, 41, 47, 56, 58 and (2) nice 13's for my roll

did a box tonight and found no wars or buffs, but did find my 2nd proof nickel in about 2 weeks. I also found a hole filling 1951d!!!
its amazing how many other rarer and older coins I found before that 51d.
now I am missing 8 from the hunt.
