Furryfrog,

I have not done that many boxes, probably a little over 30, but my stats for your amount of boxes would be approx:

150 Silvers
50 Buffalos
8 V nickels... I've actually found 8 in 30 or so boxes, but one box had two and one had 4, so I'll count those only as one individual event.
5-6 Proofs/SMS
I don't count 2009s. I have two nice ones for my book and even though they are rare to find compared to others, the mintage is too high to ever make them hold a true value (in my opinion). If I am going to hoard nickels, I'd hoard pre-60.

other with a conservative estimate:
6 Clipped planchets
6 45+ degree rotated dies
6 MADdieclash listed strong clashed dies
2 Cuds

Nice finds justin. I really need to start roll hunting nickels by the box rather then a couple rolls here and there.

Thanks-- it just adds to the addiction :)

I get a box of nickles and cents ever week from the ladies at a certain bank- they even have them ready for me as I go in the same time ever Wednesday.

The first month or two I started last summer I was doing way more boxes from several banks, but dumping all the coins took away from the fun of the hunt, so I backed down to just one pickup.

Back to having fun!

I had several firsts in the last week. The first first was a V nickel. Just one though Justin, lol. It came in a box with a silver and a buff, for a nice trifecta there.

The next cool thing was a 2003 s proof coin, which is in decent impaired shape. The contrast between this coin and the normal nickels surrounding it was astounding. This is my first real proof find. I'd found a nickel or two before that I thought might have been... but no, they were just very nice non-proof examples.

The V nickel is 1908 and my oldest find to date by one year, beating my 1909 Indian Head cent. I could hardly believe finding it as I hadnt really expected to find one for a while.

Yeah skibdib I dump them all into a different supplier. So far this year I have had $1k worth of solid date rolls. It's killing my averages.
