Mendelman, I would have liked your last box. It would have filled 2 holes for me. 1958 and 2009 P. I can't believe I still haven't found a 58. Based on posts on this thread others are finding them.

Still need 44s , 50D, 58 and both 2009's to complete my set through 2013 from circulation.

4 boxes this week gave me:

29 partial date buff, 45p war, several 09 P&D's, several Canadians, a handful of pre-60's that I need to fill solid date/mm rolls.

Slim Pickings.

I was out of town for work yesterday and I stopped in at the local branch of one of my banks. I wanted to buy a couple of boxes of nickels, but the teller looked at me like I was insane and would only let me have TWO rolls of nickels. Oh well. I didn't complain. I handed her the 4 bucks and took them. When I got back to my car I opened the first roll and immediately saw my first 1944-D. I'll take it. Keep your boxes.

you will def find the buffs, just keep going, and dont dump in your own stream. You will find one eventually.

did another box, and it was another good one! nickels have been hot. got 3 silvers today, including a hole filling 43 s! it is is very worn shape, but it is mine :-)

Also, an AU 44p that is gorgeous, and another 45s too. Most silvers in a box yet this year. no buffs, a 42d.

good times.

I just posted this in the "Grade my Coin" forum, but thought you guys would like to see this. It's been my nicest nickel find in my short coin hunting career! Whatcha think? SMS? Is it worth anything other than .05?

Did $40 in nickels this weekend and got a full date 1935 buffalo! First one of this year!! Unfortunately it has some coin roller damage on the obverse, but it's still really cool. Also got a plain 1939 Jefferson.

2 more bags yielded 6 wars including 43D and a couple of S mint ones. Also a 1920 buffalo w partial dates. Couple of better date nickels (<20 Million minted).
