Agrippa - I did a little looking; didn't find a value assigned but a few links to discussions and included on a varieties list here and there. Nothing on ebay after a quick pass through three pages of listings (there were more, but didn't have time to get to them). Maybe a value will be assigned soon. Seems that folks have found them for more than a decade, so not having a value assigned might mean it isn't worth too, too much. But a cool find and something I look for when CRHing.

Maybe put it up for auction at a high reserve and see where the bidding goes? Might be a risk though.

Finished my weekly 4 boxes of nickels. They were CRAP:

1 war - 45p
1 proof - 73s (first nickel proof of the year)
09P-2
09D-1
21 pre-60 keepers including a 49s and 2-55p

Lots of foreign:
1950 German 10 Pfennig
1974 Japanese 50 Yen
2008 UK 20p with the puzzle piece on the reverse
8 Canadian including a 1961, my oldest Canadian nickel find

did a bag of nickels - pretty poor. 21 pre-60 that I kept - well below my average (I discard any scratched, toss the 5 most common years unless they are in good shape, etc - so my average is below what someone who keeps all pre-60)

1 War Nickel - found my second 43 D ib the past 3 weeks or so.

I realize these are relatively uncommon - so if someone needs one or two for hole filler, shoot me a PM - maybe we can trade.

Also found a dirty 1950

I plan on sending it in on the next ANACS insider special.

All of my roll hunting finds are in ANACS slabs so this one will fit in the collection nicely next to my 1943 DDO double eye DDO 1943.

Two boxes this weekend: Not a single War Nickel, which was a disappointment. On the bright side, I found my first V-nickel (1906), "old" Canadian nickel (1945), as well as a 1973 S proof.

OK â€" interesting roll searching this weekend. First couple of rolls only yielded a 1938 Jefferson and then got cold over the next few. Most of the rolls had an "X" in pen ink on them so I got to thinking I was going through someone's dump. Then I found this roll -

The-Goal:-25,000-Rolls-Of-Nickels-All-Searchers-Welcome!

It ended up that the roll was a mix of 30s, 40s, 50s and AU 68Ds.

The-Goal:-25,000-Rolls-Of-Nickels-All-Searchers-Welcome!

Here's the total breakdown for 2400 nickels searched â€"

(5) ‘30s â€" 2 ‘38 and 3 ‘39
(26) ‘40s - 2 ‘40, 3 ‘40S, 2 '41, 7 ‘41S, 1 '42, 1 ‘45P(silver), 2 '46, 1 '47, 1 ‘47D, 1 ‘47S, 2 '48, and 3 ‘49
(22) ‘50s â€" 2 '51, 3 '54, 2 ‘54S, 3 '56, 3 '57, 1 ‘57D, 1 '58, 1'58D, and 1 ‘59

I also kept a few very nice 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s nickels. Mixed in I found a roll and a half of 1976 in XF to AU condition along with the balance of XF 1968 Ds, 1972s, and 1978s. I decided to keep these for the time being. I also found a couple upgrade 1982s and 1983s to bolster the album and I haven't checked the 45P for DDR.

Silver Eagle,

My son and I have only found one 1950d in 300-400 boxes. What part of the country do you live in?
