Murphy - I haven't had that problem recently (knock on wood) but I have got $1400 worth of brand new 2013P and 2014P nickels so far this year.

lot of 51 S found this week. Finished sorting the box to roll. thought I had found a 2009 cause how shiny it was then noticed the top and saw the S. 1943 S. HOLE FILLER! also while looking through them saw something shiny and thought it to be a Canadian I missed and saw 1971 S and put it with the other S ones, but now I need nickel flips cause it is a proof. now have proof dime, nickel and halves. time for a dollar, cent, and quarter proof to turn up. kept many keelboats for those that remember I am going to paint them as pirate flags on them and should begin shortly if weather keeps good and not to humid so maybe have some pics of them next month as they get painted.

jdavis,
It looks like you have a 1944D and two 1943P's. Did you have a typo?

Yep, absolutely a typo. I tried to remembering without actually looking at the pictures (I already put the coins into my silver roll)

Agh! Tell me about it! I got all excited over a '42 I found last night....just to turn it over and not see the big mint mark. :(

Well actually the 1942D (non-silver) is a minor key... not a bad find.

I just went through of my old nickels and found 5 1942d nickels. I still have another pile to go through. I found a couple of 1941s nickels as well.

Tonight's box yielded:
1945P 1906 Liberty, only our sixth Liberty ever, but our second in two weeks.

So I work in a bank and during our slow dimes, I will bust open a few nickel rolls from my coin vault and look through them. I found these two in the last week. I can't believe that I actually found a silver nickel before a 2009. The silver is 1943.
