These finds are amazing. I typically only find maybe 1 silver War Nickel (and never any Buffaloes)out of every 10 rolls... Any suggestions on getting better rolls?

My son rejoined me for a box tonight. He is done with school now. Our only keeper was an unidentified buffalo.

Thanks Rackster. This one was my 9th. I am still waiting on the 39d and 50d to finish my set off.

I work in a bank and when we have downtime, I crack open a few rolls from my coin vault and search them. I had a pretty good find today, semi-key date 1951-S nickel.

Our second box since my son finished school was a great haul:
1900 Liberty (only our 5th liberty) 1938d (only our 5th) 1948s
We have never found two really hard to find nickels (liberty and rare five) in one box before.

Decided to do nickels since pennies have lately been doing nothing for me, and I don't have enough cash to do dimes effectively. Got $40 in nickels, first nickel hunt in a long time. Got a 1943-P War Nickel! =D Also doing nickels since I'm almost done with my Jefferson Whitman folder (1938-1961)

I gave my 2 dateless buffs from this week a vinegar bath: 1916 1924S - Semi-key date with only 1.4 mil minted. Shame I had to use the vinegar to see the date.

Is anyone else having problems with getting only 2014 Nickels? I'm on my 5th box of 2014's. Actually the 5th did have some older coins scattered throughout the rolls, but less than 50 of them for the entire box. It becomes a little bit of a pain to either open them so I can dump them at my main dump bank or take them backed rolled to another bank.
