Nice 38-S! I like the 20 rappen as well.
BTW, is that a 60-D bar?

Yes - great finds everyone! That 1938S is a great CRH find in that condition Nickel! I'm so happy you're on pace to retire so quickly. Just outstanding!!

Rackster - I believe you are in the same boat with one to go. Predecessors before us on this forum have proven it could happen quickly, take months or sometimes years to finish. Retire come on.
Have many Buffalo's to pickle, starter sets to make for younger family members and friends, a blackened set, errors to search out, finish Canadian set, 2x2's, find a Henning and make some sense of the couple thousand nickels stashed.
I also have many other coin type afflictions such as Centitus and have resisted the urge for the most part (just a couple boxes and friends jugs) the past couple years doing Nickels. Until yesterday when the teller said "we just got in $50 of pennies would you like those too" and I broke and said yes. Did the first $25 found 15 wheat's including 09, 19, 26 and that dirty copper smell....
Sorry to ramble but I just laugh and shake my head every time I read your signature line.
Good Luck All.

One box today, and nothing special with 12 pre-60 coins with a 1943-P the best find. All of the other coins were rather well worn G-Fine coins, but at least it turned out better than it did with the dimes today.

More silver! The good fortune continues. And if it's not silver a sweet '42 will do.
Yeah. We won't fully retire even after we make our elusive coin. It's the hunt and not the result. I am making progress on my 2016 project but admittedly I have two searches on at the moment. Too eager to see what I'll find next. I did get a piece of silver but also a couple buffalo. Dateless for the moment but one is a D mint.

Well this is a first for me ! Just finished a box of nickels...only 2 finds... But one is a Soviet Union coin... It's a "1978 Koneek 20" coin...slightly larger than our nickel...kinda cool and unexpected. My other find is a "1935 S Buffalo" ...really nice shape, easily readable date ! (Would have liked some silver, but I'm happy with the buffalo)

Well, an S buffalo isn't bad, and I've never heard of anyone finding a 20 kopek coin in a nickel roll, so I say it's good box.
