That's funny, my first War Nickel was actually a 44-P and now I just need everything with a D and S mint mark, maybe I'll get there eventually...

Out here I find a fair amount of branch mints- the wars I've found so far are 43-P (x3), 43-S, 45-D & 45-S.
Apart from wartime dates, the only ones I'm missing are 38-DS, 39-D, 42, 50, 50-D, 51 & 52-D.

Sunday night's box:

1943S
1938d

Are we going to see a picture of that 1861 gold coin? It looks to be in mint condition!

Nice find Jon!! That'll keep you smiling for awhile.

Frogman - I hope that 1942 is in awesome shape. That's a hard one to find in a high grade.

25 rolls over that last week, very interesting. 1 45-S, 1 2000 proof, about 20 from the 50's, a recent 1 baht coin from Thailand, and 1 Mexican 1 peso coin.

I have now found four 42-Ds, all in surprisingly good condition. I still can't get a single 42, despite the fact that almost four times as many were minted.

Wow some great finds the past few days. I hit one this week and share next post.

Ajbucks - Keep on filling the holes. Nice

Yaki - It is amazing how many countries you can find doing either Cents or Nickels

Yeli - Nice Box

Numisma - 39S Awesome! Your list is getting shorter

Jon - 38D Congrats! Going to mess with your stats

Coin110 - Keep searching the Silvers will come.

Rackster - Now have 15 hunts in for 2016 and have 16 Silvers, finding 3 in 3 different hunts to average it out. Will be able to retire on Silver Nickels in about 5000 years.

Good luck to all.

Yesterday's Bank Box, did not have much hope as the first few rolls had 5 to 15 2016D's in them (410 total). Then out of nowhere a 1938S. Only one more to go for the Nickel Masters jacket 1939S. Few other finds

30's - 1 - 1938S
40's - 8
50's - 9 - 52S
Silver-0
Proof -1979S
AU/BU -6
Foreign- Switzerland 20 Rappen 1980
