Quote: my first proof 1969-S. Are you sure that's a proof? It doesn't look like it to me. I see rounded rims and a lack of mirrored fields. A good strike doesn't necessarily mean it's a proof.

Unfortunately, that's just a scan and in my experience, only fully brilliant proof coins seem to scan well. I'll try to get a couple of pics from my phone which show the surfaces better.

Quote: And it did... got a batch of 25 LOOMIS rolls in the morning, and the very first roll had a 43-P! Excellent!

Pulled this from a CWR of nickels. I've found more recent examples but never one this old.

Well after more than 5 years and 500 boxes searched I finally found the last coin in the wild I needed in order to complete my set of Jeffersons from circulation. It ain't pretty but it has plenty of street cred going for it.

Excellent 50-D! You're right about it not being in the finest condition, but it's still a 50-D. That's a nice Cud as well.

Found this awesome 1939-S tonight in a customer-wrapped roll! There is a lot of mint luster on this one.

jack_jeckel, congrats on the '50-D! LOVE IT! The only one I've ever found (30-ish years ago) was also quite beat up. aristarchus123, very nice '39-S! Congrats! And mountainman_2, very cool Cud! I found a '76 Philly with a very similar one a few months ago.
