Went through $32 in nickels over the long weekend. Found a dateless buffalo (ended up being a 1920), and a 52S hole filler among the 6 pre-1960 Jeffersons.
Nice finds!

I did some nickel rolls this weekend and my finds include a dateless Buffalo, 1943-P, 1943-D, 1988-S impaired proof, 2009-D, and a German 50 Pfennig coin.

I found a 1942S last week, one of the harder to find silver nickels.

I had a major score last night, my first 1970 Canadian nickel. That was a low mintage year. It was the only keeper in the box.

Searched through my first box of nickels in many years, and it turned out well! I found 15 pre-1960 Jeffs:
2x 1940
1x 1941
2x 1947
1x 1952
1x 1953-S
1x 1954-S
1x 1956-D
1x 1957-D
2x 1958, 1x 1958-D
2x 1959-D

I also found a 2006 Canadian nickel, an off-struck 1984-P Jeff, a clad Roosie, and one LMC. But the highlight of the hunt was my first 2009 Jeff (from Philly)!

Did a run at $40 worth of nickels yesterday on my day off. Made out pretty well. No silver, but a dateless buffalo and a 1936 buffalo in pretty decent shape came out of the same roll, with 4 pre 1960s and a few in the 60s in that same roll. Overall it was 12 pre 60 and the two buffalos. not to bad. 3rd buffalo this year from rolls / register though!

Nice finds, CollegeBarbers. Still looking for the 2009P. Went through $50 of nickels. Found 17 pre-60 nickels. Highlights were 2 War Nickels a 1944D and 1942P.

The 1944D was a hole filler, leaving 9 spots left to fill in the Jefferson series. The 44D also completes the War Nickels from Denver (just missing the 42S, 43S and 44P).

HH everyone!

These are my best finds going back to early 2017. It was around 30 boxes. I got a few key dates, 6 buffaloes (dateless, 1924?, 1929, 1930, 1935, 1937), and 23 War Nickels including this incredible 1943P.
