Searched $16, found no silver, 3 pre-1960. Hoping to pick up a box of nickels during an out of town trip tomorrow. My daughter likes to call these a nick-a-brick!

I've got my daughter to join the hunt as well. I give her the 2005's w/ the Buffalo's on the back and she gets a kick out of "finding" those.

I'm more of a cent searcher but I picked up my first box of nickels yesterday. I'm not sure when I will get to it but I will update here.

Good luck yanks21. Keep an eye out for the 2005 Bison. There are a few errors to look for on that one

sich0015,
It is interesting how the oldest penny, nickel, dime, and half dollar that you have found are from the late 1800's or early 1900's, whereas the oldest quarter you have found is only from the mid 1900's. That kind of goes along with what my son found in roll searching pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. The quarters were by far the hardest to find oldies in.
