I see a few 41S nickels found; check for the Large S variety. And congrats on finding the Magician's coin; always fun to find one (...wait...did I just flip the nickel moment).

A123 - Respectable finds and numbers! Good luck in 2018!

Here some non-USA coins I found in Jefferson rolls in 2017:

But the best was a silver 1947 50 Kurus coin from Turkey:

Picked up 16 CRW this evening. Only found a 1939, 1958, 1968S and 19 westward journey coins. BUT, finally finished my Whitman volume 2 with the 1992D that has eluded me for some reason all these years!

Due to a cold, my CRH has been limited this week so far. I managed to grab 20 rolls today at my one bank across the parking lot from the grocery store and found 7 pre-60s including a 1919 Buffalo and 1943-P! There were also 5 2009-Ds. A very productive little group!

It looks like 2018 is off to a good start for many of you! Congratulations.
I've been finishing my census for 2017. I did about 80 boxes in 2017 year and my totals are below. They include a dump of 14 rolls that had all 40s and 50s. In 2016 I did 115 boxes, so my searching was down in 2017. Some surprises (or at least surprising to me):
In 2016 I found six 1939-S coins; in 2017 I found none.
In 2016 I found only two 1950-P coins; in 2017 I found five.
Philadelphia coins from the 1950-1959 are not that plentiful.
Certain wartime cents are hard to find; I found no 1942-S cents in 2017 (but three in 2016).

V-Nickels (4)
Buffalos (30)
Proofs (11)
Clipped planchets (2)
Minor off-center (1)
Canadian (154)

Nice numbers, Aristarchus! I found it interesting that 1941 and 1940 were your two most commonly found coins... They were 4th and 6th respectively for me. Out of curiosity, do you have your date-by-date totals for the Buffalos and Vs?

I'm just north of Detroit so not that far from Canada. I bet I find one Canadian coin per roll when I do nickels. Found a couple of the pineapple ones as well. Nice haul of non-US coins

Thanks, jbuck and shotgung!

I didn't plan it this way, but I ended up searching exactly 5,000 nickels yesterday. Was VERY happy to have a 1955 Philly fall out of a String&Son roll! That's only the 5th one I've found in over 870,000 coins searched. Later on a 1951-S came out of a CWR. In between a couple of 43-S coins showed up including an AU example. In all, I found 43 pre-60s and also found 6 2009-Ds.
