pound_foolish Valued Member United States 409 Posts	Posted 01/22/2026 8:40 pm I have lucked into several collection dumps - one in a Brinks box and the rest in customer wrapped rolls. One was at the end of last week.I'll get some photos tomorrow of what was in there - mostly some gorgeous proofs but some high grade early Jeffersons and a smattering of semi-key dates, along with a single 1938 S. pound_foolish Valued Member United States 409 Posts	Posted 01/23/2026 07:32 am As usual a bit tricky to capture these proofs accurately in a photo but the group shots highlight the differences in toning. The 64 has some great subtle rainbow tones, while the 78 S appears more gold and the 76 S almost a cobalt blue. There was also a less-than-noteworthy 2019 S proof in the CWR from which these came - and only a single 1942 P War Nickel - but a number of album upgrades that gave the entire 1938-1961 book a boost in appearance! Unlike the two dime boxes which were a total zonk as well as the dubious distinction of having not a single half dollar in stock by the whopping ten banks I searched, I still made my day with 77 common 1939-1959's, three XF-AU 1939's (too bad there was no mint mark nor doubled MONTICELLO), a 1920 Buffalo, a 1944-P War Nickel, and a 1991-S lightly impaired proof.
