For the reverse of this coin, no name for the portrait Schubert is found. Indeed it is a very rare design. Was it probably a careless mistake to miss the name or it was done deliberately? Who knows the reason why?

i know its a Commemorative issue for the 100th Anniversary of the Death of Franz Schubert
but why the engraver left out the name I can not say

Hi Dohcollector, do you see another coin like this one? It is a formal circulating and commemorative coin for Austria but no name of the person to be memorized on the coin. When the coin was taken out the country, probably no one knows who he is.

Schubert had a lot of hair.
Don't ask me about the Eisenhower dollar.

Actually you may be on to something. The 2 schilling from 1929 have the names of the people.
Maybe people were mistaking Schubert for Grienauer.

Oh yes, you are right, Bungle. Eisenhower dollar not has his name on it.
