Anyone still collecting these? I put them on hold indefinitely. I just can't get into them. I really dislike the abundance of these long term programs. I was just to the point where I said enough is enough and stop collecting them if it doesn't bring me any pleasure or satisfaction. And maybe it's just me, but the low relief of a turn-off.

Just realized that I will be in college when they stop minting the ATB's... I'm growing quite sick of all of the circulating commemoratives. Not that they aren't good designs or anything, it's just that this is the THRID circulating commemorative quarter program. Too many quarters to collect just to put a set together... You have to have all the P's, Ds, S business strikes, S clad proof strikes, and S silver proof strikes... And that's not including the 5 OZ silver strikes. Too many

Yes, I am still collecting them. I like them; however, I do hope they opt-out of Round Two. I would like to see the new permanent design (Washington Crossing the Delaware) in 2022, or in 2021 since there will be only one ATB design that year. Of course, they probably should do a Round Two, but run it from 2022 to 2031 (some years would have six coins, like we had in 2009). This would give us a new reverse in 2032 for Washington's 300th birthday (and 100th anniversary of the Washington quarter).

I collect them, too, but, I just keep the ones I get from circulation. Then I practice examining them with a loupe.

I really like them. I like that they are doing one from each state but some states don't have very good parks, and some have more than one nationally significant or important one.
I think it would be better if they mixed up the mintage numbers more. Maybe make more of the big ones like Yellowstone and Yosemite, but then not as many for the smaller niche parks. Maybe also release more than 5 a year and don't tell us what is next. Make it a bit more exciting and keep us on our toes (you know if there is a round two)
I have a few mint rolls from Acadia and Chaco when the mintage numbers were low. I also have a few rolls of White Mountain as I have grown up vacationing there a few times a year. The rest of the ones I have are S business strikes and ones I have found in change.
They are much much better than the mass produced State Series and classier designs.

I like the America the Beautiful series better than the State Quarters. The designs are much nicer in my humble opinion. The border around the rim really sets them off. Instead of collecting all the mint marks for each year like I did for the State Quarters, for the ATB series, I simplified life by just doing a single circulated coin for each year (using a Dansco "date set" album). I find the "KISS" method to generally be the best option (KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid).

Yep, collecting 'em. I agree with Mayflower that the ATB designs are (generally) better than the Statehood designs. Collect whatever/however you wish.

I grab the nicer ones I get back from circulation but do not go out of my way to find them. I like them, but just not my favorite coins to collect.

These are so popular that I recently got the 2010 ATB circulating coin set for less than $2.20 with free shipping.... Yep, that's $2.50 in quarters in the mint packaging with free shipping (very quick as well) for under the price it cost for the coins... I felt bad and was going to message the seller to just cancel the auction, but I had just sold something for about $5 less than I thought it should have so figured the seller was taking a gamble on posting them (like I did) and should honor it. back to the question... I never collected them, but I'm now going to keep an eye out for good deals bc after having this set in hand, I like it.

I like the design of these much more than the State Quarters. The mintage has been skyrocketing the last couple of years so the potential for future value keeps slipping. I've been collecting a set of them and don't see the harm based off of the lower face value.

I find myself collecting things I like rather than collecting them for future value. I think the designs would look better on a larger coin like a half rather that a quarter.

It is a project for the kid and I. We are collecting BU Statehood/territory and will be doing clad proof ATB. I am firmly on the "don't spend a mint on moderns" boat. lol Some exceptions apply such as the RP prezzies.

I started out collecting ALL of them, but when they issued the S mint set after the initial release it kind of put a bad taste in my mouth. I am an album filler. Anyway I will most likely keep what I started and put together a complete set of 90% silver.
