I have the opportunity to buy 4 64 "Rosie's" in flips at a antique shop for $2 apiece... All are in very good shape... Good buy or no?

They made A LOT of silver dimes in 1964 (over 2 billion). At current silver prices, there is only about $1 in silver inside. You can probably get the same for cheaper elsewhere.

I offered her $1.50 for each dime but she said they belonged to somebody else so she couldn't sell them to me at that price without approval...
Rest in Peace

In my opinion, $2.00 is to much for 1964 BU dimes.

If I could not buy them at close to $1.20 each, I would walk away.

.40¢ of silver @ $8.00 is the equivalent of paying $31.90 for a bucks worth of 90%.

LCS had tons of 64's in 65/66 yesterday for $1.30 apiece. Turned them all down.

Lots of AU/BU 1964 Roosies available in my area for 13X. She did you a favor by rejecting your offer.

Yes, even $1.50 is high considering current silver prices.

They also had three Morgan's and a Peace dollar that were way overpriced so that told me something about the price of the dimes...

Thanks everyone...

Was the numismatic value factored in aside from the silver melt value?

There is very little numismatic value for 1964 anything, too many made to be worth more than melt unless of course you're talking top population.
