My opinion is PMD but I just can't see how somebody could have done this. Any ideas?

The denticles for the victory nickel series was replaced with the morse code symbols stating"we win when we work willingly ". For some reason you have regular denticles on your coin with the morse code on the rim. This is not PMD and this is quite interesting.

Well, they are not denticle's. This seems to be a negative impression going entirly around the rim where the morrise code notes would be. Additionally, this same negative impression is seen around the "V" and other key aspects of the reverse only. Nothing out of the ordinary on the obverse side. Il take another picture and post it in a few minutes.
I'm new here so I'm still trying to figure things out. Hehe

Great! Thanks! Much appreciated. I figured it wasn't a legitimate error but I wanted to see the consensus of everyone else.

Whenever a coin has extra incuse design elements, it means the die that struck it would have The same design element, except raised.

It's impossible that this is a variety, that would mean the mint would had to have created an entire new die from matrix to hub to operating die. Someone was messing around with a punch or something to that effect. Looks like it was done long ago, pre Dremel tool.

It is trench art and for an artist that can work such fine detail what you see on your coin is merely practice.
