I seem to have had this problem last time they tried to do this but the color coding for finishes seems off. Well, "off" in that they list a green in the legend as "light frosting" but I do not see green in any of the graphics. (And no, my color is not off and no, I'm not color blind. )

Maybe they just don't have any "light frosting" areas on any of these coins but then why would they bother to include it in the legend?

Well, the images have cyan, which is blue-green. So, which is it supposed to be, blue or green? Or are they saying it is medium (between light and heavy)?

I'm with jbuck - I see cyan vs any true blue or green. Definitely confusing.

I would hazard a guess and say that the cyan is to be considered blue ("heavy frosting") and that the coins will not have any "light frosting" (green) areas.

I remember when the US Mint published info on levels of "frost" to be used on the 5-Star Generals proof silver and proof gold coins - fewer levels and therefore easier to follow their color coded images. Progress!

Any computer-inclined kid of the 80's can identify cyan (and magenta) from wonderful CGA.

Their "blue" is definitely cyan, and w/ commems, there is no true blue or green displayed.

That's exactly what I was referring to in my original post. The press release was more confusing than clarifying... this one's better but for that green reference.

Minor gripe - at best. And it won't stop me from picking up the Twain commem!
