The listing shows two albums but dates to only 2001. Would you need another album for the 2002 to date coins? My delema is my set are proof and I'm leery about pressing them into the opening and leaving a mark on the coins. Still I would like a display for the set in album form for ease of viewing and reduction of space taken by the boxes. Additionally a album for all the ASE's would fix the box clutter but who would put a 1995 w in an album? I'm torn on cracking out three early commemorate halves to fill that album.

I am thinking, the type set albums would take two albums. The full albums, proof and UNC, would take three albums. Not sure how current they will be ... On the to date albums. And not sure what would happen for the Baseball Hall of Fame. I have been picking up some of the proofs ..l when I find them cheap. I am thinking I would like having these, to go with my other Dansco's

I think about this a lot also, but it's just hard to beat the protection of the ogp plastic holders

HONDO an album that incorporates the plastic capsule would be ideal.

I went with 2 blank silver dollar Danscos. That way I could make the set anyway I wanted.

I wanted to have all of the Unc coins only. 1983 & 84 had 3 Unc coins each year. I believe the type album only had a hole for 1 coin and the complete album includes proofs which I didn't want to include.

I can understand that.
Do you like how your custom album turned out?

I do. I might have to label the holes. I'm not 100% sure how I want to label them. Still have 12 holes to fill.

Do you have the Baseball Hall of Fame? If so ... what did you do with it? Just thinking it wont fit into the Dansco

Quote: I've not used these albums and don't know if the Mint's capsules are compatible however valleyco will be able to.
Shot them an email to find out. I have been looking for years for an album that will hold the capsules. Like HONDO said, the protection of the capsule is hard to beat. MeadowviewCollector; Thanks for posting this link.

I am really interested in the CAPS album, but the capsules are something I would like to know more about. Big thing, did you have to use their capsules? As for the OGP, there are a few that are different. The 83 and 84 capsules are smaller. Of course the Baseball Hall of Fame, may not fit in any of the albums. After sleeping on it, I am still leaning toward the Dansco albums. I need to make a new count, but I am sure I have our 60 Dansc's...... I think having them all the same ... Makes a better looking collection. But that is just me ....,
