OK so this is my first time doing this online forum thing but I figured there is no better place to go for help than an online coin community. So bare with me. I came across a 2011 Roosevelt dime that seems to have 2 different mint marked on it. A P in the normal spot and a D sideways on the bottom of the bust. Just wondering if its a case of my eyes seeing what they want to see or if its actually a good find. I wasn't able to find andthing even in the same ballpark online. Thank you, Bill

Could be a die chip bit I think it took a hit there. The metal was pushed over the field of the coin, looking kind of like a d. But it is not. There is no way of having 2 mint marks.

Thank you, I'm not to familiar with it but could see how that could happen. So basically just face value right?

Yep, that's a die chip. Appears to have covered the designers initials. Seems to be quite a common place for die chips to occur.

I would keep it, but yes, it isn't worth much more than face.
