batboy Pillar of the Community United States 650 Posts	Posted 12/27/2015 5:39 pm Most people know the 1964 Kennedy was 90% silver and 1965 through 1970 was 40% silver, but other silver halves were minted for SMS (special mint sets) and proof issues. Look for any S mints because sometimes these coins find their way into circulation. Report this Post to the Staff

jack jeckel Pillar of the Community United States 5208 Posts	Posted 01/02/2016 8:04 pm You can spot the 1972D missing the FG initials with your naked eye and the 1982P missing the FG initials as well. The 1974D DDO is easy to spot with a loupe. There rest of the DDO's need to be UNC for you to spot the doubling with a loupe. Report this Post to the Staff
