1867 Shield Nickel... Missing Leaf Variety?

ChildOfTheWheat Pillar of the Community United States 5828 Posts	Posted 12/28/2015 2:29 pm I know this coin has its problems, but I got it for only $2 at my local coin club meeting a few weeks ago. Just got a book on Shield nickels, and I noticed the missing leaf variety was in there. Do you think this is one of them? Report this Post to the Staff

roach Valued Member United States 364 Posts	Posted 01/06/2016 4:55 pm I see a leaf as well, the fourth leaves were sometimes quite small, and this one appears to be one of those. That little "blob" sticking out of the third leaf is the fourth leaf. Report this Post to the Staff
