A weak strike would be weak on both sides, that coin was struck with a grease-clogged die.

Interesting - this is a Finnish 2 Cent piece. These weren't minted for circulation and were only issued for mint sets.
I also think your coin has some signs of a late die stage (rays next to the '2' around the edge). I have some 20c pieces with this particular look.

Wow, nice!
Also look for new Belgium designs (of 2014 and 2015) - all I've seen so far have some degree of greased die, most notably at mintmasters mark (cat). Will post pictures someday.

No Dagaz, this is a Finland Euro cent, with the Rampant lion Obverse surrounded by stars, date at left.
The designers name is Heikki Häiväoja
