Just picked this up. Ideas on grade? I'm thinking 30ish.

I will start it off.. I grade it XF-40.

The obverse is XF-45 to me, reverse would be closer to VF-35. For obverse to go into the 30s you would need half the horizontal lines gone, and on this coin it appears only 1/4 are gone. You also want to look at the vertical shield lines, yours are starting to wear.

The wear on the stars doesn't usually start until 45 and below.

My first thought was XF40 due to amount of wear on the top of the shield but I think a case could be made for a 45 grade.

XF40 is my guess with VF35 at worst.
