Hi all. I'm new to this forum. My husband collects coins. We were looking through some of his miscellaneous coins today and found a few that were very worn and hard to identify. I was able to figure out one of them - thanks to this forum! - but one remains a mystery, so I'm hoping that someone here will be able to help us identify it.

Unfortunately, one side is completely worn down to nothing (and I'm pretty sure that's the side that has the country location and coin date on it). One side is very clear, but I've come up blank trying to identify it myself. Anyone have any idea about the country of origin and, if possible, the date range it might be from?

Any information at all would be much appreciated!

I moved your post to the section for identification. Can you list its size and weight?

Sorry about the wrong forum. Thanks for moving it for me. :)

The coin is about 3/4 inch diameter and about 2.85 grams.

Do you have any more information on that? I can't find anything online about tokens. I'd love to know what the other side looks like and when it was from. Certainly makes sense that it's German, though - a lot of his coins are from 1920s to 1940s Germany. Is this from the same time period or more recent?
