I believe above the right part of the B in LIBERTY is doubled. The E and R may also be doubled on top, but I am not sure. Thanks for your help. :)

Above the E and R looks like flat MD. Above the B looks raised though. What should I look for above the B to see that it is also MD? Thanks.

MS - looks like die wash and MD. Are you noticing any Die Deterioration on the other devices?

No, the obverse and reverse look brand new. No Die Deterioration at all. No MD anywhere either. Just BER in LIBERTY has that stuff above it.

IMHO, not a DDO. Most likely MD or maybe ejection doubling.

This confused me at first also but when they say Die Deterioration they refer to the deterioration on the die used to make the coin not the coin it self which has the transferred effects of that deteriorated die.

A coin can be brand new out a fresh roll straight from the mint full luster shiny but still come from a old die that was deteriorated.

Die Deterioration is usually on the devices side that face the rim. Machine damage can be on either side or both sides depending of the machine damage. So when I see it on the side of devices towards the center. I always think MD. But it can be on the same side as Die Deterioration. The flat shelf like look alerts me to MD. Die Deterioration is raised from the surface of the coin. MD is usually flat looking like this example. There is also the possibility for a coin to have both MD and Die Deterioration. So you have to examine the clues.
