If you check ebay sold values that will give you an idea of current value.

No more so than face value and the reason I say that is because the cancellation on the bills is not even a First Day of Issue. Which in many collectors eyes don't hold any significant value or interest than just being different. I do have a bill with a First Day Cancellation which I did purchase over face value but I bought it cause it was interesting and different. Having said that I will tell you that 1976 series bills that are in mint condition as your bills are worth a couple dollars more than face value.

Hey John, Sure so I have no idea for a numbering sequence... :)

I think the value of this couple is more important, no ?
Rest in Peace

A few months ago, a friend from my local coin club told me that these particular notes were highly collectable in Europe. I'm don't think that will make them worth a lot, but I suppose they are worth more there than here.

Wow, I remember those stamps! Thanks for sharing. Does your father have any other U.S. money in his collection?

Hey CelticKnot, you're welcome :) this is a pleasure to share pics from my father heritage collection.

Sure, approximately 400 items, maybe more with :

Large & Small Size, Blue & Red Seal, Silver, Gold, ... Obsolete, Confederate, Continental, ... Scripophily, ...
Black Eagle, Battleship, National Bank Note, ... but also silver coins.

Currently I scan notes in HD for making PDF & website catalog.
