This is a VERY thin coin, and the color of the 2nd picture is the actual color of both sides.

I believe the inscription is Italian. "Courage and Hope" (Coraggio e Spera)

There is a micronation in the South Pacific called Minerva. I can see at least one coin from Minerva in my Unusual World Coins book. However, as a micronation, any coins would probably never have circulated.

It's definitely Italian for "Courage and Spirit" - what was the denomination? it might not be a coin..

Both the "coins from Minerva" and this token (or whatever it is) depict Minerva, the ancient Roman goddess of wisdom. "Minerva Pacifica" is Latin for "Minerva the Peaceful". The caduceus on the other side is often a symbol of Mercury, but was also associated with Minerva Pacifica.

I don't think there's much else we can say about this item, other than it's Italian, and not a coin.
