Hindenburg-5-Marks---With-And-Without-The-Swastika-Sign

I know this kind of German 5 marks have two different issues, even of the same year type, there was one with Nazi swastika and the other without swastika sign. Aldof Hitler had already become the Chancellor of Germany and seized all powers in the country. Why in the year of 1936, coins without swastika still existed? Any information can answer my query? Thank you if you can help.

the above site may have some information of relevancy to your question...the 5,000 some odd years old symbol was adopted by the Nazi party in 1920...it was used widely in many places and is still widely in use today...

your question might require research into German mint practices and Nazi politics....

If my memory is correct the use of swastika was transitioned into gradually. Even the old tricolor flag remained in use until about 1936 after which the Nazi flag took over.
