Happy New Year to All, may you have a happy & safe New year (and maybe a couple of really good finds).

I came across this 1990 cent and thought maybe it had the wrong FG. I thought the 1990 cent had the same as the 1989 cent.
Didn't know which website to check to see if multiple stamps were used for this year.

Thanks for your assistance.

Not listed for this design on variety vista, and it does appear that my is just worn down around the G but otherwise is all matches to the size of the punch.

Yup, you nailed it. It is just a little worn. Be it die wear or over polishing or circulation. The main thing I look at is where the top end of the G is. If it is past the upright it is the 005. If it is just short of the upright it is the 006. I have been lucky to find a total of 4 1988-P and 1988-D RDV-006. And one of the Denver ones was the discovery piece for die pair #8. So my heart has stop more than a few times with some funky looking 005's.

I have been looking for the 1988 RDV-006 as well, no luck though.

Thanks for replying.
