1990 Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Wrong "fg"?

CoinCents Pillar of the Community United States 3656 Posts	Posted 01/02/2016 4:44 pm Happy New Year to All, may you have a happy & safe New year (and maybe a couple of really good finds). I came across this 1990 cent and thought maybe it had the wrong FG. I thought the 1990 cent had the same as the 1989 cent. seal006 Pillar of the Community United States 1915 Posts	Posted 01/02/2016 5:21 pm Yup, you nailed it. It is just a little worn. Be it die wear or over polishing or circulation. The main thing I look at is where the top end of the G is. If it is past the upright it is the 005. If it is just short of the upright it is the 006. I have been lucky to find a total of 4 1988-P and 1988-D RDV-006. And one of the Denver ones was the discovery piece for die pair #8. So my heart has stop more than a few times with some funky looking 005's. Report this Post to the Staff
