I got this quarter in change and the cashier asked if it was cool with me to take it because it was "bent" or would I rather get another? Needless to say I took it. I know nothing about error coin values, but I do know it's slightly off-center on strike.

Is it worth much more than a quarter, LOL?

Very nice find! I'd put it at at least a few dollars, but I'll wait for the experts to show up.

You could get about $10-$20 on the bay for it.

I have this quarter and I can't quite make sense of how the front seems to have near equal border all the way around but the back is off centered with a very thick border on the right side and little to no border on the left. Any ideas how that happened? Any value?

Driordon is a newbie and I'm sure he meant no harm.

Agree with @seal006 on a value of $10+.
