1942 War Nickel-- Lamination?

1942-War-Nickel---Lamination?

I just purchased this nickel off of ebay for $3.75 minus the value of a 1909-P Wheat penny; above are seller pictures.

On the reverse, there appears to be some kind of lamination going on. However, you also see there looks like some damage on that part of the rim.

I was buying this coin on the premise that it is a problem-free uncirculated coin.

Especially for an AU 1942 P T2!

Looks like a lamination for sure, but these are quite common on War Nickels.
