After the warmest December on record here in SE Wisconsin, weather that allowed me to get out as late as December 26, winter arrived last week with a big snow storm and low temps. It's getting down to around zero this weekend.

I guess it's time to admit it's winter, take the batteries out of the old ACE 250 and put it away for a couple of months.

Rats!

I know what you mean... The bad weather arrived here a day before Christmas eve, and on Christmas day I received my metal detector. By that time, it had already snowed four inches and the ground was frozen

For the folks in the south it's time to do some detecting. The snakes are in their dens/pits. Geography plays a role. But happy hunting once the thaw arrives!
