I just signed up for PCGS and have some very nice Indian Head cents to send in. I also have a GSA 1882 CC DMPL dollar that Ive been wanting to send off.

Do you know if I can send in the GSA dollar as part of my "free" submissions? Its not going to grade 66 by any stretch, but its nice and Ive always wanted to get it graded at some point. Its obviously still in the original packaging. Since the rest of the coins are in flips, didnt know if they would accept original GSA packaging on the same invoice. Thanks

Yes since it's the same tier as IHC's, you just have to pay I think $15 +/- extra for the oversized holder and wrjte "don't crack out, use oversize gsa holder" on the form

And secure service is free with the coupon (I just used mine) so check the secure box too and you'll get some awesome TrueView pics

Awesome! Thanks for the reply. I didn't know about the secure service being free.... thanks for letting me know!

Some of the IHCs I'm sending off should make some excellent TrueView images out of this.

what will the graded value of the IHCs be? Are they worth having in a PCGS holder?

I knew about the Secure Service, but didn't know it came with True View photos, if I read your post correctly?

That's a good deal. I have a coin sitting at PCGS right now, and I choose Secure on a crossover. So if it crosses, am looking forward to the True View pics

The value of the IHCs are worth it to have in a holder. All are UNC
1868 mostly red
1880 full red
1885 mostly red
1888 full red and PL
1890 mostly red
1903 full red
1908 full red

My concern is getting some altered color grades. They all look good to me, but you never know.

Here are some pics of a few of the coins.....the 1888 was particularly hard to photograph

The 1880 was certified as a new variety by Rick Snow, S-13. He graded it MS64RD.
