Morgan-Dollar-Ebay-Purchase--How-Did-I-Do?

I bought this lot for $26.01 including shipping.

I was only shooting for the 1889-O Morgan dollar, which at first glance, looked like an empty flip.
How did I do?

Possibly fake, if its a 1889-CC then it very likely fake. Anyway Morgan dollars with damage this severe are only worth their silver content.

Also according to your link, the listing you purchased has been removed. Sometimes that happens when one or more of the coins is deemed counterfeit by ebay.

I completed the purchase problem-free. The coin is a common date and looks genuine with real wear but lots of corrosion.

Hmm... Looks like a cast copy to me since of the mushy details. That SLQ also looks a bit suspicious...
Just my Two Cents.

If all the coins are real, which from these pictures I
can not say either way. But chances are they are real.

I would say the prices are about what you would pay at
a coin shop.

I think everything in that lot is genuine. The light is making the worn and possibly cleaned Morgan look like lead, and the SLQ is very worn and polished, making it unnaturally shiny in comparison to everything else. Nothing wrong here.

Typical bandwagon syndrome when someone says fake.

weigh it when you get it home. You did well for the price.
