I believe the last number is a 6.

I haven't tried to clean it bc I hear that is a BIG NO NO. So I have taken a ton of different pics to try and figure it out. I still cannot.

Please help. Please.

I thought so too originally bc I have another 46S and thought they looked similar. I just wanted to double check bc I cannot at all in no way shape or form see what the third number is. AND I didn't want to rely on my hunch bc I'm a noob and mess things up all the time.

Thanks.

I am pretty sure it is a 1946-S. In it's current condition, it probably is not worth messing with. I don't think you will get good results and probably not worth cost of acetone if you don't already have some. Most likely scenario is that it is worth 1 cent.

Pretty clear it's '46-S and just a spender given the damage.

Being it's a low value coin is why I suggested acetone,as a practice run.
