Hey all, I have a question about a 2002 D Louisiana quarter I have about it's weight and the way it feels when I hold it in my hand. It is really really really really light in weight compared to other quarters and it almost feels as if were made with possibly a different metal or compound? Feels like it's hollow or missing something inside? Don't think it's necessary to post any pics unless you ask for some but it's more of a "got to hold with your own hands" to fully understand but would like to know if there are quarters out there that have been made with different composition, compounds or metals thanks

Weighing coins by hand is notoriously unreliable, the vast majority of people simply cannot feel a difference of a few tenths of a gram. There is no point in speculating what you may or may not have until you can provide an actual weight.

We welcome images of coins as we don't have to guess what you have with them.

Here are some pictures of the quarter in question. On the obverse it looks like there's a faint "T" or "t" next to the word in? Also I did a lil homework about light weight quarters and came across some info that I need to quote: from the Official Red Book: a guide book of United States coins by R.S. Yeoman 64th edition 2011 "lightweight, thin quarters of 1970d are errors struck on metal intended for dimes". Could something like this been struck on quarters through the years? Thanks, come on big $$

The T by IN looks like damage to me and 1970 quarters on dime stock look different then your quarter. Look at photos of the quarters on dime stock for comparison.

Is there anything wrong with E Pluribus Unum? It looks different for some reason or is that normal

No the E looks normal possibly a little grease in the die. But just by the details of the strike it looks to be on appropriate planchett, only weight will really tell.
