Yeah those Sonoran Monsoon slabs were from heritage. I only needed a couple of them, but it was a 6 coin lot so now I have some doubles.
The 70's are out there. While they are not cheap, they definitely are not out of the world expensive. $800.00-$1000.00 should be able to buy you one if you keep your eyes open. I'm not sure what makes a 70 a 70 myself. I may resubmit some doubles and see what happens. It's almost like gambling maybe you'll win maybe you won't.
As to what's next? I'm not sure. The nicest coin I can find.

Anyone else think 70s are showing up, because more people are interested and trying to submit?

Thats a possibility. I was talking with one dealer and he was talking about, the elusive 70 grade. He had a theory that 1 out of 25 coins gets pulled and given the 70 grade. He said this jokingly but after looking at various 69 and 70s he could be right.

These are great. How are you storing your impressive collection?

PCGS blue box behind 10 inches of aluminum and tungsten impregnated steel for the moment. Once it's completed I'm going to work on a better storage/display solution.
Just left a coin show with a couple more ikes. I think I may make GR58 finally drool.

They are in dated piles 71,72,73,74. I'm gonna look through them all hoping for a MS69. GR58 massive piles are inspiring. Maybe between the two of us we can corner the market.

I desperately need a coin show in my area.... I mean I'll take a coin show anywhere within a two hour drive! ...but no luck around here.

Quote: I desperately need a coin show in my area I used to feel the same way until I started looking. Within 100 miles from where I live there is a coin show, auction, club meeting/auction every week. The trick is finding the first one. Once you find one they all have flyers for all the upcoming events. Auctionzip.com was where I stumbled upon the auctions and from there it's just networking with people to find other venues.
