There are times when I would like to contact a staff member for a little guidance and direction, but don't know if there is a page that lists staff members and tells something about their skills and responsibilities. Does such a thing exist? Thanks for your consideration in advance.

This is a great question. I'm sure everyone here would like to know more about the background, interests and experience of our moderators (god bless them). What say, moderators?

why not a page with all the members who choose to participate? a member can choose to type in a little blurb about their specialties and add their name to the list...then you could type in a key word to look for a member who may be compatible to answer your questions who is on the list and you can send them an email.
it is a cool idea IMO but it probably would have its faults that I didn't even realize.

I was going to post a link to the FBI Most Wanted List as a joke, but that seemed too politically incorrect even for me.

The alternative then is to risk violating policy and let the staff find me. Specifically I was wondering about the banner beneath my posts and did I do something to activate it, and is it in violation of the self promotion policy? I do like it. Thanks.

The CCF is the best coin forum in the World. That takes a lot of effort from the staff members to maintain CCF, as it is.
If you want the share their knowledge and expertise, read their posts in whatever subforum that takes your own interest.
Such an approach helps to maintain their well deserved privacy.

If the topic's original poster has a ebay ID entered in their account, the forum software will link to their recently listed items. If there is no ebay ID in the profile, or there are no auctions for that ID, then other ads are shown.
