I found a 1953 wheatback penny and I think that it might be double die. It seems like there is some kind of error. If you look under the 9, the 5, and the 3 on the coins the date there are extra curves. Sorry for the grainy pictures.

The Shua, to CCF.
Those marks are not where a doubled die would be. Tough to tell what they are.

Damaged. Possibly heated in that area melting the surface.
