Hi I have an old style Australian $10 that has a misprint.
I have researched a few misprinted notes, but this one is particularly unusual. does anyone know what it may be worth?

Thanks
Baz

Hi --
That is an unusual error. It's like some ink was missing on one of the printings or maybe that spot was covered with a scrap druing one of the steps...?

Putting it up for auction on ebay would show you what it's worth to buyers -- but you have to be ready to let it go then. Or you could try an auction house to see what they think.

Thanks Buddy, I hadn't realized you sent me an answer. This is one huge forum. I have thought about ebay or an auction house. It is an unusual spot where the eye is missing. Its hard to judge what value to put on it. Some notes with huge misprints are going for a thousand dollar's, while others with a bit of extra ink or a dropped serial number are listed on ebay for $50 to $200.
