It uses a reverse NEVER used on 1873 Trade dollars, so it can NOT "look real". Oh, it can look something like a Trade dollar, but not a genuine one of this date.

The counterfeiters didn't realize that certain dates have different obverses and reverses, and combinations thereof. Thus, at least some of their fakes are easily seen to be counterfeit.
