Die pair 1? I'm thinking I see a crack...

Anyways, VF-25. Typical weak reverse.

AU-55, maybe 58 but I doubt it, weak reverse.. I don't know if the die cracks and die pairs apply to the ones with the visible mintmarks. Obverse corrosion might knock it down to details. Needs acetone work.

VF30 but with a little work may slide into VF35 .....

Problem is assigning a grade that covers both sides ... With the weak reverse the coin may grade higher than it looks and the obverse certainly is better than reverse ...

What "Eye Appeal Grade" if there was such a thing, would this coin carry?

If just the obverse give it a 7 out of 10 and maybe an 8 with some restoration work but then comes the reverse even with the weak die a grade of 4 or 5 out of ten would be as high as it would go ..... So would you assign an overall grade of say 6 to 6.5 out of 10?

Just saying assigning a single grade to a coin does not tell the whole story!

Obverse VF-35, reverse weak strike, grade: value about $25 . needs acetone and Verdi-care on obverse.

Very strong ear details - obverse is at least EF-45, imo.

From second pic I give the obverse a nice XF45 with some work .... Weak reverse brings it down in my eyes .... Looks like possible cleaned reverse. ebay $30 range!

The ear is pretty strong on Lincoln, I think the obverse is a solid XF45. It's hard for me to tell the difference between wear and a weak strike on the reverse, but since the obverse shows limited wear it is likely that the reverse is just a weak strike. If I was buying based on these pics I probably wouldn't pay more than XF40 or VF35 prices.
