Mint mark is actually SMHB so Heraclea mint RIC 20b

I believe there may have been a clogged die when struck as the middle X seems to be missing on the bottom row. Reverse should be VOT XX MVLT XXX

Looks like this issue for heraclea is rare. You have a very nice example, with a neat error to boot.

This is an excellent specimen of this coin due to the centering and completeness of the legends on BOTH sides. It is a premium coin from that standpoint. However, the mention of rarity in the Wildwinds quote, which was part of a seller coin description when it was brought into their database, was based on RIC IX. That may have been the situation in the museum collections of the late 1920s when RIC IX was put together, but that is obsolete today. That doesn't stop some sellers, even today, from hyping a coin using the old scale. These are not hard to come upon today, but finding one as nice as this is uncommon indeed. Color me green.

Agree with Irbguy.

The obverse is extraordinary for this type and this emperor. I am curious where you picked up this little beauty

Thanks alot all for your reactions! Where I bought this beautiful coin I don't know anymore. It is a long time ago.
Maybe a strange question because this aint my collection area what is carolingian and medieval period. I was wondering if I would sell it in the future.. Do you guys have any idea what it might gain?

Normally I wouldn't ask, but because of the reactions it is probably an rare piece to collect in this quality.
So maybe selling or an nice trade with an medieval coin in the future could be nice.
