Just found this among some of my random coins - does it make vg-8? These old pennies are nice coins - imagine that in better shape they really look super. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

VG8 sounds good but i'd expect a details grade from the scratch and the rim dings

Yep, I'll go along: VG8 but the scratch may cause a 'details' notation. Still, the old Victoria large cents are a real favorite.
