1972-D Kennedy Half - Clash - Pretty Common?

CoinCents Pillar of the Community United States 3656 Posts	Posted 01/22/2016 11:56 pm Evening All I picked up some half dollars today from the bank and came across this one with a Die Clash. They don't have it on the Maddieclash website and the overlay for the half dollar doesn't match up to the clash lines on my coin. I don't even see any on ebay (even in the sold section). Is this pretty common and that's why they aren't being sold? Thank you all for your input Report this Post to the Staff

BlueSolo Pillar of the Community United States 740 Posts	Posted 01/23/2016 12:25 am I've seen a bunch of half dollars affected by this, "Ghosting", VLDS, and MD is what it is. When the dies have been over worked the image from one die starts to appear faded on the other die. The chin area is often affected and most noticable by MD as well Report this Post to the Staff
