It could be - it is hard to tell from photos. It certainly has the details to support MS in my opinion, seems to have that "mint luster" look and it could be "album toned". But, it's hard to tell if the surfaces were altered in any way (dipped, artifically toned, etc.) from just a photo.

This is IMO where you need to be able to trust the seller before you drop any serious cash into something like this.

All my opinion of course!

I too have been watching this Capped Bust quarter. It immediately caught my eye as the toning is very nice. My main concern is that this seller has several coins listed that have this same type of album or target toning. This makes me suspicious that the coin has been artificially toned.

This coin is a perfect example where it being graded by one of the top tier TPG's would give me some level of comfort.

I personally am passing on this one.

If you haven't already you may want to take a look at the sellers other coins to see what I mean.
