I have 16 rolls of various date wheats that arrived today. I'm looking at these things with a loupe, and have found some fun stuff, and examples to add to the collection. A couple BIEs, one poor mans '55 double die, a bunch of greasers and a '57 RPM. I can't tell what mark is below the D, but there's definitely 2 marks there.

12 more rolls to go! Pics will be added to the thread as I move along.

I don't know how you guys don't go all googly eyed staring at cents all the time!

I have started looking through nickels to break the monotony of cents. I will always be a cents guy, but adding a bit of variety every once in a while cant hurt

Instead of searching straight I do 30 minutes intervals then I work, hang out with my kids etc by the end on the night I done anywhere from 4 to 8 different 30-45 minute sessions. I also view the same coins twice this prevents missing stuff

My eyes used to get out focus after CRH; I switched from loupe to seeing the coins on a computer screen using USB microscope I take pictures name them the same as code written on a 2x2 flip. Sometimes I plug in an HDMI cable to them I review them on big screen tv from a distance on couch

images now have an oversized 7-inch high mint mark, so no squinting or minimal strain on eye other the normal computer but my glasses are transition/ar coated which also help reduce eyestrain when using a computer

you can even get a low-end USB microscope for $10-$40 some are only $5 I currently used microscope objective on a camera but same in theory

I use a Stereo Microscope. I can look through a roll in a few minutes. I've looked through 30 rolls in an hour straight and it's not tiring if you get your chair set up so you are comfortable looking into the eyepieces.

I use a 10x loop and been googly eyed more than once. Learned quickly to pace it out. Look a bit then rest or switch it up a bit.

As for going cross eyed. I stick with using my dominate eye only. I've tried going back and forth between eyes but seem to prefer my dominate one over the other.

Your cross eyed post made me try something I'd not try to do with a loop and that was to use both eyes at the same time. Will not recommend that with a loop. Thanks Doug.

Sorry I've been late following up. Been dealing with 2 sick kids. I'll post results and some pics at some point this weekend. Found some interesting stuff.....no super strong RPMs, but there were a few in there and some possible DDOs.
